Appsellz ("we", "us", "our") builds applications for the Wix App Market. This Privacy Policy explains what data our apps and websites (together, the "Services") collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to all of our Wix apps unless an app provides a more specific notice.

Our role. When a store owner ("Merchant") installs one of our apps, the Merchant is the controller of their site visitors' personal data, and we act as a data processor on the Merchant's behalf. We also process limited data as a controller for our own purposes (security, support, and improving the Services), as described below.

The exact data collected depends on which app is installed and how the Merchant configures it. We do not collect payment-card numbers, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. How we use data

To provide each app's features (for example, capturing an email and issuing a discount coupon when a visitor opts in).
To secure the Services and prevent abuse and fraud.
To produce aggregate analytics for the Merchant about their campaigns.
To provide support and to maintain and improve the Services.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: consent (for example, a visitor opting in to marketing before submitting their email); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics); and legal obligation where required. Visitors may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing & sub-processors

Merchants. Data collected through an app on a Merchant's site (such as captured emails and consent) is made available to that Merchant. The Merchant's own privacy policy governs their later use of it.
Wix. Our apps run on Wix and use Wix APIs (for example, to create coupons or store contacts). See wix.com/about/privacy.
Hosting (Supabase). Our backend and databases are hosted on Supabase, with data stored in the United States. Supabase acts as our hosting sub-processor.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. When a Merchant uninstalls one of our apps, the data that app holds for that store — including captured contacts, settings, and analytics — is permanently deleted. You may also request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]; we action verified requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies & local storage

Some apps store a small functional value in a visitor's browser (for example, to remember that a visitor has already played a game so a popup is not shown again). These contain no personal data and are used for functional purposes. Our apps run as functional scripts and respect the cookie-consent settings of the site on which they are installed.

8. International transfers

Our hosting is in the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

Subject to your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] (or the Merchant whose site you used). You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
